Once you hit that level of success that you've been working so hard for, eventually you're going to hit the wall of being uninspired. So today I'm going to give you five ways to improve your business, not only the tactical strategies, because that is important, but what's more important is why you're feeling this way about your business.

Because if you're facing your business every day, like something you dread, It's worse than going to your nine to five.

So the reason I am doing it this way is because I don't just throw out strategy as a bandaid and that's what a lot of people and even coaches and programs do because you trick yourself into thinking that changing your brand colors or doing a photoshoot, investing in a 5, 000 website or even a 20, 000 coach that all of these things will improve your business and they might in a way.

But those things are all appropriate to do once you have all the other pieces in place. So today I'm going to go deeper than that. I'm going to go deeper than strategy and I'm going to ask you why you want to improve your business? Why is it feeling heavy and I'm going to give you some common ways that I help women improve their business And it starts feeling light and fun again because that is why we got into business in the first place.

My name is Tiffany. I'm a communication expert and women come to me after they've checked all the boxes that other programs have taught them and they're ready to find their voice again. I am an expert in helping you evolve along with your business. If this sounds like you, listen to this episode and let's work together.

1. So the first thing is maybe you feel like you're running out of time.

There's just not enough hours in the day because you're probably a mom, a wife, a friend, a sister , many other things outside of your business. And it feels like you just don't have enough hours in the day. First of all, there's a thing that says you and Beyonce have the same amount of hours in the day.

It's like trying to try and shame people that if you didn't get enough done today, look at Beyonce, please. Beyonce has the hours of all of her employees and her day. So let's not go with that mindset. That I do. Not buy into that at all. You are one person, and even if you have a small team, only you know what's in your head and the things that are important to you.

And as much as we try to communicate those things, the mental noise just never shuts off. That's the reality. And so you need to start outsourcing to get more time. And this involves relinquishing control. This is not fun, right? This is the part that we're kinda like, oh, but they're not gonna do it as good as we do.

They're not going to know all the tricks and tips that I do to make things my way to stand out, you know, let's say they're helping you with copy or whatever it is. It's not going to be exactly how you would do it, but you are getting back your time and that is priceless.

You're getting back your peace and that is priceless. And let's think of the best case scenario. Maybe they'll do it even better. And you're going to be like, man, why didn't I do this so long ago and get my time back? So that is number one, get your time back and outsource. Maybe that's why it's feeling heavy because you don't have enough hours in the day.

2. And the solution to that is to outsource to improve your business.

The next way to improve your business is to let go of old modalities. If you use things like content pillars, see if there's one that feels like a squeaky wheel. When I chose to expand from marriage coaching to communication coaching, I put under that umbrella communication, marketing, and copywriting.

And so I would find myself talking about copy and being happy with those things and marketing and all of that stuff. And then I would suddenly start talking about marriage again. And I would bring it back into my copy and it would kind of feel out of place, but I couldn't let that go. I couldn't accept that maybe that season is over for now.

Maybe there's another way that I can incorporate it into a program in the future. But I had a hard time committing to this new thing and because I felt like I was indebted to my old audience, I felt like that's what I'm known for. You know, am I making a mistake? But it was time for me to let go of old modalities and it's not that I don't talk about life at all.

I do. I actually still talk about life situations a lot because I still believe that life and business are intertwined. I'm just talking about it from a different lens and more focused on the business side. And so I'm letting go of old modalities because that might be one thing that's bringing your business down.

That's bringing your enthusiasm down because you just can't pick between the two flavors and there is a way to merge them, but it's not a constant back and forth because it just gets confusing to your audience and even you are not happy with it. So let's eliminate some modalities and get back to the things that actually feel aligned to you right now because I heard a really good example and it was something like once you're in space in the rocket ship.

For months on end, it's really hard to think about what you were doing to get there. And so you've been in the rocket ship, you're already at that new level, and you're still talking about the shoes that you need to buy in order to be on the rocket ship. And so it feels like, like it's stale to you and then it's going to start feeling stale to your audience.

So this is your permission slip to let go of some old modalities as you transition and pivot and even create a new business, especially let go of some old modalities. You don't have to bring everything with you into this new stage of life.

Another practical way to improve your business is to repurpose your content to get more visibility. And this is a fun part because it can really let your creativity flow. Maybe you can try some new brand colors. Maybe you can use a Facebook or Instagram story template on Canva and add a quote. You can try so many different things.

And so when you do things with less pressure, then the harder things will be easier to solve. I'm going to say that again. To improve your business, when you start doing things with less pressure, the harder things will be easier to solve. Because if you're making everything a hard decision and there's no fun, your brain just makes that chaos your baseline standard.

And then you're going to keep looking for hard things to solve. Because your brain is like, Oh, this is just our new normal. So let's look for more challenges and more hard things and more stress.

3. Next is to add some fun by repurposing your content. And the bonus is you're going to get more visibility.

You can choose to use another platform.

Now, I know that there are so many thoughts on this. You know, you should only stick to one platform, one offer, one group. Times have really evolved. from when that advice was started and given, maybe in 2016, 2017. Times have really evolved since then, but try it as a game, you know, try an Instagram, try a TikTok, and see if you like it, and if you don't, you can stop.

You know, we're not married to any of these things, but repurpose your content to get more visibility.

4. Next is to try something new.

Try a group program if all you're doing right now is one to one, and vice versa. there's another old school thought of you have to start with one to one, and you have to wait until your one to one is 80 percent full in order to start a group program.

That's not a law. That's not set in stone. could it benefit you? Of course, because you have a very predictable data to go from to build your group program. But do you have to wait with your hands tied behind your back until that happens? Absolutely not. I don't think so. Some people would disagree, but that's fine.

I found that In trying things you expand this freedom that you have you give yourself permission in all the micro ways Which I talked about in the last episode and things just keep growing from there But if you just jump from rule to rule to rule, you are a rebellious rule follower. That is my people: a rule following rebel. And so when you are that kind of person you want that That structure of a rule, but at the same time you need that freedom.

You need to rebel a little bit against the norm. That is what feels good. Not in a negative way, obviously, but doing things that go a little bit against the norm to feel like you are spreading your own wings in your own way.

5. And number five is to do more of what's working instead of focusing on finding what's not.

And what that means is, let's say after you have a launch, you just focus on, man, I really did not like sending emails every day. That was so draining, it was so exhausting to jump from one platform to another, to copy and paste, to make sure all of my I's were dotted and my T's were crossed. I did not like doing email.

And then you might also say, I didn't like creating all those Canva quotes. That took way too long. I got way too lost in the design. I don't like doing that. So what you're going to start doing is focusing on what you did like.

When the launch is over or even just in general, reflect on what you really enjoy doing in your business. You might do a launch and say, you know, what I really enjoyed about this launch was that I would go live three times a week. You know what I really enjoyed was that I took that written post and made it into reels.

I made it into quotes. And so on your next launch, repeat the things that you liked. Obviously, don't do the things you didn't, but don't put so much emphasis on that. Instead, let your brain spot the things that you liked doing, and then it's going to activate it to start doing them. Figuring out how to do that more and incorporate that more into your business, into your launches and into your programs.

That way you enjoy the entire cycle of business.

Those are my five ways to improve business. There are things that you can start implementing today, practical steps, because that's the way I do things around here. I don't like complicated. I don't like 48 step funnels. I like to give you a practical step that you can start implementing today.
